About Janet
Get to Know Janet Rivera
A native Stocktonian, Janet is a graduate of San Joaquin Delta College, University of the Pacific, CSU Stanislaus, and Graduate Studies at Sacramento State. She holds a California Life Time Pk-Adult Ed Teaching Credential and over 35 yrs of experience as a Teacher, Administrator, and Grant Writer.
She has been actively involved as a Juvenile Justice Commissioner, volunteer Bilingual Sexual Assault Counselor for Women’s Center, Head Start Board of Directors, Jose M.Hernandez Reaching for the Stars Board of Directors, and National Association of Latino Elected and Appointed Officials.
Her professional career and community commitment are to serve with integrity, honesty, transparency, fiscal responsibility, and continual advocacy for all students, staff, and our underserved population in our community.
